DC fast charging (kW)
High-power charging at public stations, in kilowatts. The car's maximum only applies under ideal conditions.
DC fast charging bypasses the car's onboard charger and feeds the battery directly. The kW figure is the peak; charging slows as the battery fills and in the cold. Makers often quote 10–80 % time, the most useful real-world number.
