AC charging (kW)

Charging from a home wallbox or public AC post. Limited by the car's onboard charger.

AC charging goes through the car's onboard charger, typically 7–22 kW. A wallbox more powerful than the car's AC limit will not charge it faster. Single-phase homes are usually limited to about 7 kW.
