OIS (optical image stabilisation)

A moving lens or sensor that cancels hand shake — sharper night photos and steadier video.

OIS physically moves the lens or sensor to counter small hand movements, giving sharper low-light photos and smoother video. EIS (electronic stabilisation) does it in software by cropping the frame.
