Chipset (SoC)
The phone's main chip: CPU, graphics, AI engine, modem and more in one package. It decides speed and efficiency.
A chipset or SoC (system on a chip) puts the CPU, GPU (graphics), NPU (AI engine), image processor and often the modem on one chip. Examples: Apple A-series, Qualcomm Snapdragon, MediaTek Dimensity, Google Tensor, Samsung Exynos. The same phone can use different chips in different regions — check the region notes on each spec.
