Titanium / aluminium frame

The phone's metal side frame. Titanium is strong and light; aluminium is light and cheaper.

The frame holds the phone together. Aluminium is light and common; titanium (used on some flagships) is stronger for its weight. Frame material changes feel and weight more than toughness of the screen.
